I need some help!!!
I have a 1987 Chevy SWB with a 350 TBI. I have lowered my truck using Western Chassis 2.5" drop spindles in the front and the Western Chassis 4" drop hanger and shackle kit in the rear with the Doetsch Tech shocks on all for corners. I also replaced both front coils with factory coils. I want to order some WC 1.5" coils for the front for a 4 inch drop. However I had the truck on close to level ground and measured and I noticed that the left side is 3/4" lower than the right side and I cannot figure out what this could be. If anyone has any ideas as to what I can do please let me know.. Thanks!!!

it happens, rare will you find a truck that sits perfectly level...i have one corner that is 1/4" off.. of course i have about 100lbs on the opposite corner holding that corner down a bit... lol... in its previous history someone could have over loaded it and bent the frame or something.... good luck

Are you using the drivers side gas tank?

Thanks for the advice Jon, I know when I replaced the factory coil springs with new ones it was only 1/4" off and I still had all the WC parts on it as well. I just thought that the left spring was weaker than the right and damn too bad I did not keep the old springs. I still may go ahead and get the 1.5" wc coil springs. Yes Robert I am using my driver's side gas tank. I may talk with my mechanic and see what he thinks as well. Thanks again guys

If you have dual tanks, and one has more gas in it than the other, it will be off, sometimes by a fair amount. This really gripes me about these trucks. Why couldn't they have put the tanks in the rear like Blazers?

Thanks Robert and Mike. You know I never thought about this and now that I think about it sometimes when I measured it, it was only 1/4" off which is I believe is about right per Jon. I am going to check tomorrow morning and see which tank is half full because I know one of them is almost on empty. I can almost bet you guys are correct and that is why this forum is the s#$t...
