aluminum radiator ??
just got back from the "back to the fifties " car show in st paul minn. /did anybody see the guy{auto city classic} selling the aluminum radiators that had top tanks resembling "harrison" tanks ? he was out of stock on them -$200.00-show special! there make in "taiwan" but sure looked good ,no epoxies,nice welds,complete w/ cap ! anybody using one of them? i know taiwan is almost china !!! but price is wright /product looks good ??? talk me out of this ??

i dont know what the ones you saw look like, but i have one that looks like what you describe. Im not at home, so i cant take pics of mine. But mine have harrison-like tanks. I only paid 200 also....but its warped. not going to be a problem, but not happy with it. Im not ready to try it quite yet, lots to do still. I should have bought one from sparkyrd on the board here, but they are twice the price, shoulda bought it anyhow!

A lot of guys are running the Champions because they are cheap.
Most parts places still offer OEM replacements, too at pretty reasonable prices. I normally run a BeCool because I have never had any issues with them. I currently have an OEM V8 in mine, but will change that out with my new engine install. There's lots of options and everyone has an opinion. |
