My 57 4x4

Hello all! Im a young gun of 25. I bought my truck 10 years ago with fire wood and summer job money. I'm a long time lurker relatively new member as of a few weeks ago. I've got a sbw 57 chevy 3100. Built in Baltimore and spent it's entire life until 7 months ago in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Here's an abbreviated list of what I've done:
350/700r4/np208
Coorperate 10f/12r
I'm one of those evil guys to the purists who has a k-5 frame swap.(original was rusted all to hell or I would've stayed with it).
4in lift 35/12.5/15 procomp x terrains
New glass, sheet metal and patchpanels in all the usual places.
She's runs and drives pretty good.
If someone could tell me how to post pics I'll get some up.
Just wanted to say hello from northwest New Mexico.

Re: My 57 4x4

Thanks for that, as you can probably see the pics are a few months dated, got the chrome emblems on it now and a few other odds and ends

Looking Good !

I like that you moved the rear fenders to center the wheels.

Re: My 57 4x4

Thanks for the welcome that's a beautiful napco you've got for your profile pic. I was told my truck was originally a napco. Unfortunately I can't verify that claim. if it was a napco, none of the original parts were there when I bought it. It had and early 60s front axle with the rest of the drivetrain from a mid 70s chevy truck. It was all bastardized to say the least. Moving the fenders was more logical to me than chopping the frame. It's come together pretty well in my opinion considering all the custom fab work and various mods it's required to bring it to life. The bottom 12" of the cab pretty much all the way around excluding the rear cab panel, but including the floor and parts of the firewall is new.
