Fan shroud
Anybody have a good source for a fan shroud to fit around my electric fans for the stock radiator? I may try and make one but if I can find one cheap I just buy it.
I saw a article in a jeep magazine on how to make one out of wood and fiberglass. I was also wondering if a factory shourd would fit over the electric fans and help it some to force the air through the radiator fins better.

Re: Fan shroud
Depending on the fan setup; if you have a single fan, you MAY be able to use the hardware-store method of using a vent fan hood trimmed flat.
In past projects, I made shroud covers or radiator covers from ABS before. Its cheap enough, easy to cut, and you can heat it with a heat gun and bend it into any shape. Its flexibility and lightweight work well in the engine bay (just be careful with direct heat against the plastic, some will soften)

Re: Fan shroud
I was thinking more on the line of a metal box basicly with 2 fan openings for my truck fans. Are either making a box out of sheet metal and closing it into my fans.
