Need help please

Can anybody tell me where I can find a wheel for 1963 Chevy dump truck with 8 lugs? I have looked all over around where I live and it's just impossible. I live in OH. Thank you for any help you guys can give

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it should be 8 x 6.5. Which is found on many late model trucks.
I don't know what diameter of the wheels you currently have on your truck. If you lived closer to me I have a set of 16" steel wheels I would give you. Check out the link I posted below.

30 series truck, right? The 18" wheels are an old multi-piece tube-type.

Which is to say that no one uses them anymore, and most of them have been thrown away. 16's are what most use, but 19.5's would be very nice if you can find them; they would also not be such a tight fit over the rear brake drums. My own '63 dually has 16" tubeless wheels on it.

If I understand correctly I can use either a 16" or 19 1/2 as long as they have 8 lugs? Sorry I am completely new this. All I know is the dump truck is a 1963 Chevy with 18" wheel and one of the rear wheel is split in almost half

Yes 16" is a more popular choice because availability and price. But if you found a set of 19.5 at a reasonable price I think the would look great. Post up some pictures of your Truck. We love pictures.

I am assuming you have a C 30 with 18" dual type wheels. Those are the old 3 piece wheels that were around for many years before and after 1963, so they should be some still around. Try Adler Chevy Truck in New York http://www.adlersantiqueautos.com/ He specializes in old Chevy trucks and I am pretty sure he has them. You can only use pre 1970 wheels on a '63 1 ton, because when GM went to disc brakes on 1971 1 tons, the studs were thicker, so the hole in newer rims are larger. If you go for a complete wheel change to 1 piece design, go with a set of 17.5 or 19.5 dual type wheels ( pre 1971). Hard to find, but they are out there. 19.5" tire is approx. the same diameter of a 18" tire.

FWIW, a lot of guys (almost all of them IME) run the later 9/16" stud wheels on the trucks with the 1/2" studs; I don't think a lot of people even seem to notice it unless they try to put '70 or earlier wheels on a later truck. The conical-seat wheels on my '65 C30 SRW even worked fine with the 1/2" stuff. The dually wheels are also truly hub-centric, and with the flat lug nuts I don't really see it as a problem unless you let the lug nuts get loose (which would obviously be a problem anyway). Some good washers would probably be a nice idea, though.
