Re: Vent window repair kit?
The pivot is a pain but can be replaced. The biggest trick is to use 2 people on it. Find a tool that lets you get a good straight wack on the rivot. If it gets crooked then the headaches begin. I did mine using a vice as an anvil to hold alot of the rivots while I smacket them with the rivot punch.

Re: Vent window repair kit?
Is the pivot rivet long enough though? It seems it needs to be another1/4 inch longer.
Thanks bill |

Re: Vent window repair kit?
You don't use a hammer and punch to set the pivot rivet, you crush it using one of these tools.
