What is this

I need to replace my front cab supports on my 61' Suburban. I have begun removing the spot welds that attach the support to the floor but I need to know if the large thick washer that sits on the floor that the support bolt passes through needs to be remove the support. On mine, with the bolt removed the washer still does not budge.Name: image.jpg

Re: What is this

From my experence it is some type of floor insert used in the front cab mount of the c10s
They are tough to remove and not sure if they are spot welded in or not I have always use a air chisel to remove them from the old floor section clean them up with grinder or wire wheel and reused them. Again not sure if I am correct or not but I am sure some of these other guys will know more than I do about them

Re: What is this

Re: What is this

Sorry I misread the question
if just replacing cab supports and not floor sections he is correct no need to worry with them.
