Sport Mirror Fit
Just got the truck back from a buddy who patched up my window mounting holes so I can install the sport mirrors. I found a post on here with measurements of where the should be mounted. I'm just wondering if everyone else that has the sports mirrors have a tight fit as in gap between the mirror and the door? I ordered mine from LMC with the inner door bracket and all the goodies. I have attached pictures to show the spacing as best as I can while holding the mirror in place. I know its not the exact location of where the mirror will be mounted but the gap issue seems to be the same regardless.
Sorry posted from my phone so the pics are sideways |

There is suppose to be a hard rubber gasket between it and the door. Do you have that installed as well? I don't see it.

It looks like you have the wide part of the mirror going up and down. I have mine side to side.
Also, don't count on being able to see much out of the passenger-side mirror except girls walking down the sidewalk.

I do have have the hard rubber piece but the mirrors are not mounted yet. That rubber piece isn't so thick it's going to change the gap very much.

Re: Sport Mirror Fit
The gap once you add the gasket is correct. They're close to the door from the factory.
