I spend my free time (whenever I get some) drawing, ski dooing, spending time with the wife and kids, and some minor painting. I don't really have a ton of free time, and most time when I do have it, I don't know what to do with it

I really enjoy fishing and deer and turkey hunting. I like to draw cars and trucks and i'm an avid monster truck fan. I also run a limited late model dirt car and help with my buddies modified dirt car as well.

In the summer I like to waterski and wakeboard (need a better boat), also work on the truck, house and garage.
My wife and I work with a dog rescue group here and foster dogs for them til they get adopted. We've had 8 so far and we really like it. Most are 1-2 years old that are hand picked from animal control for good tempermant. All the dogs we get were ones that were going to be put down that day. They get a second chance. We have some that go to Leader Dog for the Blind, and have had a few go to be drug sniffers for customs. Right now we have a dalmation mix and a Lab/Newfoundland mix as fosters. They of course, "help" me work on the truck. I like to do some restoration work on the side, and some powdercoating for friends and anyone willing to pay. Getting into plating now too. Anyone need those carb linkages replated? |

Hey, my name's Matt and I'm an olds fanatic. This is my first car, if you want the story on it, check it out on my website along with before/after pics, but just because it looks pretty, I"ll put up an after picture here. Oh, and as an aside, if any of you guys own Oldsmobiles with Olds motors, check out www.realoldspower.com. HOme to some of the fastest oldsmobiles out there (like the Laurer/Trovato gang that's doing 8.4's in a 3600 lb 74 Cutlass and a 78 starfire almost in the 7's...all Olds power baby!)

I've got snow running through my veins. Gone to the mountains every weekend. I'm also looking for a CJ or Samurai I can pickup cheap and trick out for the off seasons (when there isn't any snow to play in).
Pic is last year on President's Day on the Montana-Idaho border somewhere around the top of Lolo Pass.

I also do some Mtn bike racing, rock climbing, girl chasing, and car jumping. Hang with me all, since I don't know how to post multiple pics on the same post, I will just have to do 3...

Remember me mentioning car jumping?!?!?!
The car looked like a banana when we were done with it. Of course it had to be towed home because after this landing, it crushed the oil pan (and yes we did try to keep going till the engine seized), broke one of the front strut mounts up into the hood, snapped the exhaust right off of the heads, and my friend taco'd the steering wheel when he hit it during landing.
