Not sure what exact color blue dye to dye the dash pad? advice please
Ok, I have a nos dash pad for my 87 silverado it's currently grey and needs to be dyed.
I want to be sure I dye it the right color blue but nowhere I can find tells me what exact dye to use? My truck is light blue/dark blue on the outside and blue interior dash pad is fairly dark but no clue what to use? there is products like "shadow blue" "med blue" dark blue" etc.. anyone know? thanks |

Go to an automotive parts store that sells PPG paint and ask to see a chip book for your truck.

Thats what I did. Went to several parts and paint stores with a piece of the interior. I never could find a exact match. To light or to dark or wrong shade. I just picked a dark blue for mine and sprayed the whole interior to match. It seemed the only way to get to match. I did buy it in a quart at the auto paint store .
