2" or 4" Cowl Hood

My truck is kinda old school. it's loud, big stall convertor, more at home on the track then street. Trying to decide whether I want a 4" hood or 2". What do you guys think? Thinking the 4" might fit the race car look more.

2in would look better on your truck. I think a 4in is too extreme unless your tubbed with slicks.

VERY nice looking pick-up, myself i would go a 2'' but then again to me the best cowl hoods have the vaccum operational "flipper" on the hood like the 70 LS-6 chevelle, we have put a few on some trucks up here functional flipper and the "cowl induction" emblems. they look trick

4 inch looks good. I did that to a blazer once also except mine was a 4x4.

This is a Harwood fiberglass hood. When it was installed, the metal hoods were not in production. I like it and it lightened up my truck a great deal.

2", your truck still "looks" like a daily driver street rod. IMO
