C-10 Kids Bed

Finally got my kids bed finished this weekend. Thought I would share a picture. Attn: Purists, these parts were taken from trucks in pretty bad shape. No decent saveable trucks were harmed in the making of this bed!

Re: C-10 Kids Bed

Awesome.

I always say, "Get them kids hooked on something (sports, cars, whatever) positive and chances are better that they will stay away from worse things".
My DAD got us boys hooked on hot rods at a very young age. Wife's not too pleased all the time, but hey, she'll get over it.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thanks guys. My kid is a little gearhead like Dad. He likes it almost as much as I do!

I did not. I had actually thought about a reading light that looked like a late model bed light but after about 50hrs fab/body/paint I was done.

That is cool as heck. Maybe put a cargo light on it for a night light.

Re: C-10 Kids Bed

I love it very nice.......a sliding rear window would make a nice hide away bookshelf or a nice place to put a 20" led tv......also a led cargo night light would be sweet........

Re: C-10 Kids Bed

Saw one of these with a 67-72 Fleetside bed, came across the 67-72 truck section and across the board's Facebook page. Looked pretty cool, gave thought to finding a couple longbeds and splicing them together

Re: C-10 Kids Bed

I just asked my wife if I could do that for our bed, she said no but then said that we could give my daughter her brothers waterbed and I could make him a new waterbed frame out of one. I wonder if she knows that means I would need to buy another parts truck. HMMMMM. Great work KJSR.
