Below is a picture from his site showing the side mount version and also a pic of the same bracket on my 350. To figure out what heads you have for the mounting holes here is a page from Bill that shows the various configurations. http://www.billshotrodcompany.com/17043/17064.html

That is a very nice set up. I have it bookmarked for when I am ready.

I discarded the headers on my 64 C10 with 350 earlier this year in favor of the 2.5" rams horns. Here's what I learned... The manifolds with 2.5" outlets were only used on Impalas and Corvettes. The RH manifold is the same for both cars, so the Corvette guys have bought them all up and driven the price up. A very nice reproduction is, however, available from places like Crane's Corvette Parts. The LH manifold, however (the one that mounts the alternator) is different between the Impala and the Corvette, so there is less demand. I was able to find a very nice used LH manifold (with alternator boss) for a reasonable price, and then bought the RH manifold from Crane's. I'm very happy with the results. It cleaned up the engine compartment, and I like the sound better than with the headers. |

Would you happen to have a part number for the impala manifolds? I found some for a 65 ss 327 that look like they should work.
Thanks |

Re: Headers for a sbc 350 in a 66
I don't have part numbers, but 65 Impala manifolds will definitely work, and a 65 Impala SS with the 327/300hp engine would have the desirable 2.5" outlets. You do NOT need heads with accessory holes if you use these manifolds. I can take a photo or two of mine with my iPhone if it will help you.
I see you're in Richmond...I was born/raised there |

That would be awesome if you could.
Nice here but not as much as it used to be. Still love the area though |

I'll take a couple photos on my lunch hour and find a way to either post them or email to you.

Do you have an email address where I can send these photos? They're not great, but may help a bit.
