HELP Decided on these shocks, will they be ok ?
I have decided to go with these shocks for my 1987 Stepside.
Front KYB 565032 Monomax Rear KYB 565036 Monomax As I am buying these to be sent to Australia, are they the correct ones for my 87 ? Want to make sure as a bit hard to send back. best buy I can find with freight is from Rockauto online shop (US$) 315.00 Here are a couple of side photos, how much do you think it has been lowered from factory ? And will standard shocks be ok to fit or will I need different shocks ? From the ground to the lip of the FRONT guard it is 2 feet 4 inches From the ground to the lip of the REAR guard it is 2 feet 3.5 inches Any feed back is greatly appreciated

Re: HELP Decided on these shocks, will they be ok ?
Looks like about a 3/5 drop from factory height.
My truck is lowered about 3/4 and I'm running generic OE length Monroe shocks, I've had great luck with them on ALL of my trucks and they are half the cost of what your looking at. The only recommendation I have is to scuff them up and put a light coat of some sort of paint on them before you install them, because the paint that they put on them doesn't hold up that well.
