T-5 Trans input shaft
The info from this site has been great and I picked up a trans from a S 10 for my 66 with a 350. I need an input shaft and Summit is a month out. No luck with Speedway or Jegs with any part numbers I have from here. Any other known source taht could speed this up. The truck still drives with the original granny gear trans but I would love to get this going. Thanks Jon

Re: T-5 Trans input shaft
Hi number10,
There's lots of T5 swap info in the 60-66 FAQ index here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=646002 If you choose to, you may be able to use the original Input Shaft if you read thru the following thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=4871869

Re: T-5 Trans input shaft
Thanks I got all of that. The plan is to keep the 10 spline 12" clutch that I just put in. If I have to wait for Summit so be it but someone must have the Motive Gear jeep input shaft.
