That's the one I first measured (the one marked 30). I found that that one measured 9.78 mm with the digital micrometer, but turned out to move .382" (9.7028 mm) using the dial gauge. That's what brought me to figure that .127" should equal 10 degrees. I set a vac can to .127" and installed it in my dizzy, and checked with the timing light. It was bang-on 10 degrees vacuum advance.

Back at you....sounds like you had it figured
 I looked in the shop, but could not find an old Crane can to show. All the dizzys, are at my bros place....I don't run 1 in my 5.3? Once again, thanks for the pics, & the mods...longhorn
