MTC - Manual Transmission Club
let us know if you currently have a factory manual transmission truck, not owned one in the past, not my cousins uncle had one when I was five, LOL
let us know what she is, pics would be nice too (I ask because I have yet to see one at the junk yards I've visited, so it must be a rare animal) |

Re: MTC - Manual Transmission Club
I have an SM 465 in my 85 - factory. I regretted it was only 4 speeds, so I threw in a Spicer 5831! Now I can shift for days on end.

Re: MTC - Manual Transmission Club
Our 83 is a 305 with SM465. Anyone know of a replacement (correct) shifter knob? The top showing the shift patter kinda disintigrated on ours.

Re: MTC - Manual Transmission Club
I have an 82 C10 with 250 six and Saginaw 3-speed with 3.50 low gear. Soon to be replaced by a 355 and TH350. Trans works but has a small leak at one of the shift shaft seals.

Re: MTC - Manual Transmission Club
I lived in Erie, PA for a while, and worked for a place called Ward's Landscape. We used a truck almost identical to your yellow plow-rig. Ours had a dump-bed on it, and it moved snow like it wasn't there!
