Re: 56 L92 T-10 build started
Got the parallel 4 link built and installed. I went with a set of QA1 coilovers at first but then ran into a issue up front. I want the truck to sit low but with the 84 chassis it's so wide it leaves no room for the wheels while turning. So scew it just air ride the whole truck. So in the process of air ride and my engine harbess I'm installing a military grade cannon plug at the firewall.

Re: 56 L92 T-10 build started
Working on getting the procharger intercooler installed. I will have to run a custom grille, price you pay for something different. I also split the harness in half so I could mount the ECM in the cab. Mil spec cannon plugs. 78 wires to cut and pin crimp, no fun!

Re: 56 L92 T-10 build started
i used a CX racing universal intercooler (27" x 11" x 3") for mine, it fits better than that pro-charger setup, sits about a inch back from the outside lip of the grill shell (still need a custom grill).

Nice build. Thanks for sharing. I like the Mil spec cannon plug idea.

Thanks, I couldn't see mounting the ECM under the truck, plus it's so easy to remove the harness now and damn it looks awsome! Very very time consuming.

Re: 56 L92 T-10 build started
Been thinking long and hard about trying the powered rack and pinion install. After reading up on it I went ahead and ordered a 86 Thunderbird rack, $55! So here we go.

Re: 56 L92 T-10 build started
Been some time since I posted, been some good progress and some big changes. I decided to buy a 57 front end and sell the 56, the hood and fenders on the 57 are damn nice and OEM, I like them. I'm thinking I will shoot the entire truck with old school red primer and then a white and pull the white back down a little and leave it for a few years.
I also completely finished the 4 link and built it all myself Had some Intro wheels built 20x8.5 and 20x13, had to cut and narrow the rear end Had the chevy astro van rear seat recovered and got the billet specialties column and wheel put in Got the front air ride done with tubular control arms upper and lower and added bag plates |

Re: 56 L92 T-10 build started
Been some time since I updated this. Been driving the hell out of the truck, no issues at all. Have just over 3k miles on the new build. Nothing is good enough for me, the truck made some good power on the Dyno 445 RWHP with the cammed LS3, but now I'm adding the LSA blower! Should be fun
