5.3l/4l80e swap parts list
Im sure this has been beat to death, with good reason, but maybe i just dont know how to look for it...but anyone has a parts list or rough guidline of parts needed to do the swap? Ive seen some here and there, some parts ill need but not a complete list...as of right now im just doing a straight swap...5.3l/4l80e in a 69 short...performance cams, intakes, ect probably wont be happening for another year or so, heres what i want and maybe i can get some direction or links to good threads with the info...
-Fuel injection -A/C -Power Steering Thats all i can think of right now, importance in that order..any advice would be appreciated. |

Re: 5.3l/4l80e swap parts list
I bought a used MAF sensor from ebay that was for the similar year motor as my swap motor, for belt again bought off Amazon just matched year and vehicle info. Exhaust is hard you will probably have to modify anything you buy to work, I bought the Magnaflow setup for my truck that is supposed to be bolt in but there is no way it will fit without modifications. Air intake again but from ebay just got a "cold air" setup I got one with a K&n filter for $150, I had to make some support brackets to hold the setup but it was easy to do, not using the cold air box as it does not fit. Shift linkage the Lokar ACA-1800 seems to be what everyone is using for column shifters.
Hope this helps Rich |
