Quad Headlight Questions

Hello all,

I've got an '81 GMC Sierra with the quad headlight setup, but saw another similar year truck with all four headlights running the low/high beam setup, I've got the 2 low/hi and 2 hi only... Wondering how I can make that work in my application? I'm also considering upgrading to HID Projectors, so it would be nice to have all four on the low/high style, not just two and two... What's everyone's thoughts?

It's in the harness. There's at least one guy on here who can build custom harnesses, I would give someone like that a shout.

Here is the guy hes talking about http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=522485 And on the hid projectors make sure you spend the money and buy good ones not the ebay cheapo knock offs.A good set will run you 300 bucks so your looking 600 for all 4 lights anything cheaper i would stay away from.

Re: Quad Headlight Questions

On my '87 all four lights come on when you hit the brights.

I didn't do anything to it, so I assume(d) they were all that way.

Re: Quad Headlight Questions

my 87 and 88 were 2 low 4 high.
high bulb is low beam, low is high beam.
I switched them around, just bend out the bucket key
one light has 3 connection pins one has two

My 82 C10 is the Same way. The bottom lights are supposed to be aimed differently too. IIRC its down and out.
