My edc project

I recently decide to swap my motor for a nice fresh rebuilt sbc. Sooooo I figured while I was doing that I might as well swap trans. So I went for a 700r4. Theeeeen I figured while I have everything out I should paint the fire wall. Etc etc etc.
On top of these things I also decided to upgrade to an engine driven compressor. Naturally I went with the york 210. I checked the local yard but it seemed like all the doners were already picked clean. So I got a rebuilt on on eBay for about $150. This was the easy part. The hard part was finding a way to mount it. The engine I got had a lwp and no holes in the heads for brackets. They only place I could find good brackets was from Alangrovecomponents.com. Unfortunately he only had a bracket for a sanden comp. so I took this and modified it for a york 210. This is what I came up with. Hopefully the pic works

Re: My edc project

The suction is on top. My biggest pet peeve when making this bracket was making sure the belt lined up perfect. I've seen some pretty scanned together stuff so I wanted this to line up right. Here are some pics of it powder coated and mounted with rest of brackets

Re: My edc project

Here is finished product unplumbed. So since I have ordered all parts to plumb it up and I will update this as I go. Really looking forward to seeing that psi needle going up faster with this.
