Made a connection this weekend.

Saturday the family and I were on our way out of town and ran across a small car show. Stopped in a came across a gorgeous 77 4x4 Scottsdale sitting in the lot. After walking around it a couple dozen times admiring it, I struck up a conversation with the guy. Come to find out he had bought the truck off the lot in 77. We talked over a few things on rebuilding squares and I mentioned I am going to have to replace my passenger side gas tank. He told me that he had the one that came off of his truck, nothing wrong with it....he just wanted a cleaner one to put on his truck, sitting in his garage and he would be glad to sell it. As we talked he mentioned he had a passenger side door skin sitting around primed and ready to go he would let go of for 50 bucks. Got his number and as I was walking away he says, "Ya give me a call.....I am sure I have a bunch of parts I need to clear out." I nearly wet myself.....He lives about 30 minutes away from me and has spare parts to get rid of.....I must say it was a good day!
