I screwed up I think
Well a few days ago my truck cut out on me going down the road we got it home and we figured out it was the fuel pump so we got a new fuel pump, which doesn't work with the new fuel line I got because I broke the other one taking off the fuel pump but anyway I tried putting the fuel line on on the old fuel pump to see if it's even work and I tried and tried but couldn't get both ends on from the carb to the pump but doing that I took off the distributor for easier access but now I can't seem to put it back on I think I might've broken a piece off can someone explain to me how to put it back on maybe I'm over exaggerating and missed something but I can't fasten the distributor down

Did you just take the Dist cap off? Or did you take the distributor out of the motor?

I took it out of the motor but after tinkering with it I got it back in and tightend, do you know of any product of fuel line that's flexibil because this pre bent one is giving me way to much trouble then it's worth

Just get some fittings for the fuel pump with barb ends and run some rubber line.....

Think they are 1/4" NPT....look like this.
Depending on the engine you'll have either 5/16 or 3/8 fuel lines

Too easy. Take the number one spark plug out, put your finger over the hole, have someone bump the ignition until you feel pressure (air come out), then put the plug back in, adjust the distributor and rotor so it points to that plug wire you just took off, and your good to go. Start it up, adjust your timing with a timing light.
