Ran across this CL ad , great price for a complete step side bed $200

doesnt look "shot" to me! looks real good. and he says right in the ad hes willing to negotiate? someones gonna scoop this up for $150 or less. i think its funny the guy would use "shot chevrolet bed" as the title LOL. one guys junk is another guys treasure

I think a lot of TF guys on here would be all over that for 200 if they were close enough to be able to go after it. I saw one like that for about 300 last year that was a trailer that I thought was a good deal and had no extra cash to go after it.

After several attempts to get hold of the guy and the language barrier I finally got an answer on the bed...he sold it "long time go". I suggested he cancel the ad...he said "huh?"

It would be challenging to fix the big dent in the right fender right along the crease. Not sure I'd want to put in the time it would take to do it. Easier to look for another.
Left fender looks good though. Tailgate is probably shot. Fixable but new ones aren't expensive enough to invest the hours for me. |
