Re: decent affordable radiator?
Check out champion radiators. They can be had for a couple hundred. E-bay has them. Also summit.

Re: decent affordable radiator?
I just added a 3 row Champion to my truck and it doesn't run over 180 now, no matter how hot it is outside. With a 3 row brass/copper radiator it would swell to over 210 under the same conditions.

Re: decent affordable radiator?
Ebay get a nice aluminum one for around $150. Or call speedway motors they sell speedway specials for about the same price. I'd say they are name brand ones with out the name brand.

Re: decent affordable radiator?
I just put in a champion 3 row aluminum radiator in my '61 with a 350 swap. I purchased from jegs.com. they have an online price match. I found one on ebay for 198.99 plus shipping. Went to jegs website and they price matched it plus gave me free shipping and had it in 3 days. Great fitment and beautiful looking under the hood

Re: decent affordable radiator?
Seems Champion comes up everywhere for price vs value.

Re: decent affordable radiator?
I had a 3 core in my truck with a BB. I should have just ordered the 4 row the first time. Well I have an extra radiator for my other truck anyway... 3 row is the way to go. I got mine of e bay. The 4 Row was $265.

I am about to put a moderately built 292 in my '63 C10 and may replace the oem radiator. I don't want to use an electric fan or a shroud so a more efficient radiator using the plain ol' water pump fan would be helpful. I don't mind a crossflow radiator if I don't have to invent the wheel to get it mounted.

Re: decent affordable radiator?
We haven't had any rain. The rain was in Southern California about 400 miles away.
