1997 C3500 5.7 to 6.0 Swap Questions
I am currently working on a 1997 Chevy C3500 with a 5.7 and NV4500. The 5.7 is at the end of it's life and I was going to buy a new long block but I got to thinking about a 6.0 swap. On paper I can get a used decent mileage 6.0 LQ4 complete engine with the necessary components to make it work in my truck for around the same cost as a new 5.7 long block. I was just wanting some advice or comments from other members who may have done this swap before. Also I have searched some but cannot find many good things on engine mounts that will mount a 6.0 into a GMT400 truck, any suggestions?

Re: 1997 C3500 5.7 to 6.0 Swap Questions
I bought mine from ICT Billet. About $50 and I used the 1/2" or 3/4" setback holes. Worked perfect for my LY6 swap. My truck is a 99 K2500 with a4L80E.

The only problem is with the A/C. Lextech has a kit though for it.
