1969 C-10 front steering swap
Good morning all, first post here so be gentle.
I have a 1969 GMC C-10. Doing a Vortec engine swap and upgrading the complete suspension and brake system. My original centerlink seems to have made its way to the landfill by accident. I am looking for one of three things. Either some lucky fellow here has a centerlink for this vehicle they be willing to part with, or someone can tell me where I can find the unicorn at. Or lastly, can I convert my steering linkage to a different year C-10 truck and use more readily available parts. I have spindles that are disc brake conversion from CPP. I believe they are from a 1972. My gearbox is a power steering unit from a 1975. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: 1969 C-10 front steering swap
youll need to use the center link and end links from a 71-72. the angle of the pitman arm mount is different than a 67-70 or its its longer or somethin like that. but before you invest in this, you should make sure your brake set up is in fact a 71-72.
cpp does sell the tie rod ends to swap to disk brakes using the 67-70 centerlink im pretty sure but using the 71-72 centerlink would be best
