LSx radiator hose sizes?
What are you guys using for your LS swap radiators? And what are the hose sizes? It seems that radiator hose sizes vary from radiator suppliers. I've found some that use 1-1/2" for both upper and lower, some use 1-5/16" for both upper and lower and some use 1-1/4". I measured the upper and lower connections on my LS3 and found that the upper connection (not the barb) is 1.3", which is close to 1-5/16". The lower connection is 1.56", or 1-1/2". Thanks.

Re: LSx radiator hose sizes?
I used the stock radiator Spectra CU840.
Truck water pump and t-stat housing. With 1" set-back plates, the stock 2k Silverado upper and lower hoses lined up perfectly and fit the radiator. |
