I need a pic of an original 1972 grill.
It's time to work on the grill. I'll drill out the rivets holding on the grill brackets here in about 30 minutes and while those are off, I want to repaint the black ring around my headlights.
However, I'm not exactly sure what an original 1972 grill is supposed to look like. Anyone have a pic? |

That'll do!
Would you say that was a satin or gloss black? |

Maybe this will help. I don't think you need to drill the rivets out either. If you follow the rivets toward the fender I think there are 2 bolts that come off that hold the grill on.

No need to drill out rivets and remove mounting brackets. Grill unbolts. Unless you have really rusty ruvets and want to replace them. |

My brackets had to come off (drill out the rivets) due to their badly rusted state. |
