What is this worth in the general eye of the public?

This is all i know so far and the attached pictures.

1969 Chevy C30 has a 350 Cubic Engine, Eddlebrock Carburetor, Headers, Serpentine Belt Conversion, A/C, lots of Chrome, Aluminum Radiator, Optima Battery, Dual Exhaust, Electric Fans, Engine is not a high performance engine but only been dressed up.

10-12 grand would be my estimate. Looks sharp for sure! How much is the asking price?

Listed at $5000 than dropped to $4599 a week ago. Has not replied to my email 3 days ago.

It's a scam. I've seen the truck for sale twice in the past. Once it was listed at $14,500 up in Central California and then later in Southern California for around the same price. My guess is the current ad is listed by a Nigerian price that needs your wire transfer.

It's not a C/30, for one thing. Any 67-72 looking anything like that would be at least mid-teens these days. Wouldn't have been surprised if you said $25k. I was expecting you to come back with your dream crushed saying 10-12 grand was way less.

Why go 1/2 way? If they add a one to the front of that number they will increase their chance of hooking the big one by 100x. At least the listing might seem legit enough to bite. Prolly lose the deal on the cashiers check thing, though. Is there anyone left to fall for that crap still?
