Re: Door Glass replacement

You have to remove the wing window assembly first. Then the window slides toward the front off the truck and you lift up and out.

Right, but i mean remove the actual glass from the metal channel at the bottom of the actual glass. Not remove the glass assembly from the door.

Re: Door Glass replacement

I laid my window glass flat on the workbench with the metal frame hanging off the workbench edge and slide the frame up to the edge and catch on the workbench edge. Then i took a wooden block and hammer and started tapping on one end of the glass until it broke loose and kept on tapping until it came out the frame. When i installed my new glass i just fill the frame up with black silicone , let it dry a few days and trimmed off the excess
