Need Help!
I'm going to apologize right off because I'm trying to get information and I know nothing about autos. I recently found some pistons in my shed that belonged to my partner who just passed. I've tried googling the number on the box (980-P .060) and the closest I can come is that they go to a 292? but the tops are different then any of the pics I see online. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me what these go to or what they're "officially" called. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Need Help!
My first thought when I saw the piston was that it looks like a big block piston to me. These two threads confirm that.

Re: Need Help!
That all makes sense as he owned a 1965 corvette sting ray big block. Yes I do have 8 pistons.
So my next question is does anyone have any idea how much I could sell them for and where I should list them? I want to thank all of you for the help. It's been difficult enough since he passed and now I have no idea what to do with all these car parts. Thanks again! |
