72' White CST 71,000 Original Miles
New Member- I joined the forum because I just bought a 72' White CST that was a two owner vehicle with only 71,000 original miles. I have been lurking for a bit looking at some very nice Blazers, now that i have one I figured i better join. Overall it is in great shape, just has been neglected a bit and has some really saggy springs on the back. Here are a few pictures.

Great find! Looks like a great driver or resto project.
What's going on below the trim line?

Re: 72' White CST 71,000 Original Miles
The previous owner decided to put HVAC silver tape on the bottom below the trim line because he thought it looked "cool". I will be removing it soon because it does not look "cool".

Very nice Blazer. But beware what is lurking behind that HVAC tape! You might just leave it on until you are ready to do some rust repairs.

Re: 72' White CST 71,000 Original Miles
Thanks, for now I am just going to do some small things to make sure it is in good running condition and it needs some new tires pretty bad (super dry and cracked sidewalls), so I just got some new BFG 33x12.5LT15 AT that i would like to put on some 8in rallys. The rear springs are super saggy so i will have to do something there but i am not sure if i want to to do a factory spring replacement or or do a 2" TC EZ Ride lift? Any thoughts or suggestions?
Someday I would like to re due the entire vehicle but for now I would just like to have some fun with it and the family, looking forward to next summer taking the top off to do so cruising. |

Re: 72' White CST 71,000 Original Miles
I am putting new factory springs on mine. DriveTrain Industries here in town has pretty good pricing on them. Made in the USA as well. We need to gather all the Front Range Blazer guys together sometime.
