Question Wireharness clips on the Frame question

Hey how many wireharness clips are on the Lh frame rail on a 72 Blazer? The ones that both the fuel sending and rear lighting wires clip in to.
Also, does anyone have pics of where they go. I can't seem to find a drawing in the Assembly manual.
Thanks. Jeff.

Re: Wireharness clips on the Frame question

Not sure if these pics will help, but I took these before I took the frame apart.

Edit; Oops, I just realized it was wiring clips you were concerned about and not brake line clips. Those are the only pics I had, sorry.

I actually had 7 total and 2 of them were along the rear x-member for the Fuel sending wire. That would leave 5 along the frame rail if I had them all.

Yeah I took ones of that side for the hard lines but never thought to take any of the Rh side for wires before I pulled it apart. Thanks though.

I can't find a page with it. I thought I looked through the whole manual. Might give it another shot.

Hopefully someone chimes in who has a survivor truck that has the factory clips still in place.

Re: Wireharness clips on the Frame question

Actually Minnz you've shown 4 different ones on your pics. Mine had 5 remaining along the side when I took it apart if that was all of them there is only one more spot. Don't know if my Bkazer still had them all or not.

Jim. I'm not sure cause the 2wd x-member in that picture threw me for a loop but I is the only page I ever saw in the manual.

Re: Wireharness clips on the Frame question

Ok, I found another pic of a 5th clip. It was located above the driver's rear spring shackle:

Re: Wireharness clips on the Frame question

Well that may be it. Like I said mine had 7 total with 2 being on the back x-member. Maybe 5 is correct for down the frame rail. My truck was fairly stock except for a 4"lift. I'm going to use your pictures Minnz as reference for now. Thank you.
