energy suspention front spring grommets?
Bought a set of 3.2112g front spring replacement grommets. I'm having a problem with the placement of the rear front spring grommets in the kit. Four of them have a wider shoulder than the other four. How are they placed, seems like they should all be the same.

Re: energy suspention front spring grommets?
No. They need to be different thicknesses because the width of the spring is narrower than the frame brkt for the shackle.
Narrow in the frame. Wider ones in the spring eye.

Re: energy suspention front spring grommets?
Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I purchased the same kit and it appears the shoulder on the bushings tha go in the spring eye are far too large to fit in the frame shackle once assembled.
I was thinking about taking some thickness off of them, but wanted to see what others have done. Am I supposed to just press it into the frame? |
