Another 65 LS swap starting!!
Ok guys I'll give ya the short story. Imy looking for any insight to make sure I'm on the right track. My old 327 let go on my way home from the beach in panama city last week. Motor is not any count. So I picked up a 2007 LS2 with 4l70e trans from a trailblazer SS last night. Plan to use dirty dingo mounts and sliders, reuse factory trans cross member, going to keep factory fuel tank for now, and mount me a fuel pump inside frame rail with a regulator, and filter in line. Of course I'm going to keep my factory tach dash and gauges using a Abbott x box, along with all adapters from Auto meter to install all other gauges. Probably going to use a bp stand alone ecm harness and cut all the guess work out of the installation. Any other help/advice yall can recommend I really will appreciate the help as this is the first ls swap I've done. On a fairly tight budget for now.

Re: Another 65 LS swap starting!!
tip #1: start a build thread! (in the builds sections) Its way easier to keep all your progress in one easy place, and it gives those of us who dole out help an easier place to reference when questions come up. Its also a great place to post tons of pics!
tip #2: if the budget is an issue, PLAN everything, add 25% for screwups, redo's, and misunderstandings. tip #3: Also on the budget. If there is something you really WANT to do in your project, you can usually offset cost with time. Don't feel like you can't have X or Y because of budget, patience always pays off. Sometimes its better to wait that extra (teeth gritting) month to get the parts you really want, instead of settling for what you can afford today. I could probably do 20 more lol.

Re: Another 65 LS swap starting!!
What I've researched this far is my tbss manifolds should work good enough for now. The truck currently has a new champion radiator which I'll probably throw some duel electric fans on and run a long upper hose for now lol. My new build thread is in signature. Anyone with any insight please subscribe lol I'm gonna need help!
