Post Rims and tires advice

So I'm trying to make sure some rims fit that some guy is trying to sell me. He's got:

15 x 7 with 4 1/4 backspace 225/60/15 tires (front)

16 x 8 with 4 1/4 backspace 245/50/16 tires (back)

So I guess my question is would these fit and look good. I'm concerned about the backspace is my main thing. Any feedback would be great, thank you.

Re: Rims and tires advice

First thing, does yours have the factory 6 lug hubs?

Nope, it's been changed to 5 lug all around. And it's got the newer front end with A-arms.

Re: Rims and tires advice

Unless someone on here chims in with similar wheels and back spacing I thing they would fit fine but I would want to slide two on and make sure they clear. Or you could take some measurements to see where the outside edge would be in relationship to your fender opening.

Re: Rims and tires advice

Ditto what the others said. World of difference!!!

I just bought an unfinished project that is running the chrome reverse with moons as he was going with more of an old school look...after seeing the difference on yours, I think I will eventually change mine...after I finish the build...
