Brake Light Broke...
So, when my lights are on, the taillights work fine. But, on the drivers side, when I step on the brakes, the taillight goes out.
I checked the voltage to the socket. everything seems fine. New bulb too.. Any advice? Piper |

Does your drivers side turn signal work?
Double check your bulb, and make sure you have the 1157 bulb, and not the 1156. |

Yeah, turnsignal works great. Bulb is 1157. I'm stumped. maybe a ground problem?

try switching the bulbs and see if it follows bulb or stays on drivers side

nope, not a ground problem.
If the turn signal works fine, (and we are talking about the turn signal with the parking light off) then the only thig it could be is a bad turn signal switch. |
