Window cranks
Are window cranks the same from 60-66 and did any other GM vehicles have directly interchangeable cranks? I need a pair.
Thank you

Re: Window cranks
The window crank handles are the same '60-'66. I'm not sure if the handles from any other GM vehicles are interchangeable. Maybe an Impala or Chevelle of the same vintage? I've had a couple '65 Impala's and a '66 Caprice, but that has been so long ago I don't remember how the handles attach.

Re: Window cranks
Just my 2 cents worth. My 65 Novas' window and door crank handles were held on vy spring clips. Impala, Chevelle are probably the same, whereas the trucks have set screws in the handles.

Re: Window cranks
I believe the GM truck window cranks (and inside door handles) stayed the same all the way from 1947 up to 1966.
But like 65chevysub said, most all the GM car window cranks are held on with spring clips (as are the 67+ truck window cranks). Instead of set screws like in these trucks. |
