Shock Placement in 73 C10
I have a 73 C10 that I am putting a 9" in and need to know the best placement for shocks. Do I stagger them like factory, in front of or behind the rearend? Do I install them straight up or point them in at the top some? I'm going to install a new x-member in order to get the shocks as long as I can and I will take it to the strip as much as I can.

Re: Shock Placement in 73 C10
Are you keeping the leafs or 4 link? Leafs = Staggered. 4 Link = Same Direction. I would put them as wide as you can fit them and as close to vertical as you can. Rob talks a bit about setting them up in this thread: http://www.pro-touring.com/threads/1...01-Ride-Height

Staggered will help with traction on leaf springs.
