I used the stock Silverado hoses in stock orientation in my truck.

Split a hose with some stainless tube for my upper hose. Keeps the intake tube from contacting it and keeping a low angle. Plus its shiny.

Yep, I used 2005 Silverado hoses for my '72 swap. Had to cut about an inch off each end of the lower hose for best fitment, but other than that, it worked great. Guess Chevy didn't want to make very many changes themselves!

No kidding with 1" setback plates the hoses were perfect, fit like they were made for the truck.
