Is there a glass window mount channel available?

Dont know what to call this but my windows are mounted to a bracket to raise the windows and that part is fine, but the channel that the glass is mounted to is rusted through pretty bad. I was thinking to grind off the mounted spots of the channel portion and weld a new track for the glass to sit in. Also tried looking for a replacement part with the roller track but all that Ive seen are priced with the glass.

Re: Is there a glass window mount channel available?

Been checking around and still no window channel. Tried LMC and others but they just sell the entire glass and all unit. Went to an auto glass shop and auto body shop and no one had a source. These channels are shot. Anyone ever just drilled out the welds and found a channel to weld in its place?

What is the length of that channel, I may have some product to send you depending on length. I work for a company that has glass channel attachment material.

Each one is 22 inches long and the inner channel area that the glass fits into is around 8mm thick/wide. The sides of the channel are 1/2 inch tall. Thanks for checking!!

Thanks for the pointers and advice everyone. I found that same assembly on ebay a few days ago that cv65 pointed out. As soon as I get them In I'll get them assembled and see how it does
