Pics of my buddy's 65

Here are some pics of my buddy's 65 that he is working on. He just picked up the narrowed axle and will work his magic to get it in this truck.

The tire size he is going to work under the truck - tub city!

He can smoke the tires presently, but that's not going to happen once he gets these under it.

Looks like he quite a project going there. I believe those seats are the same basically as the ones I had in my 75 Jimmy. They are the back seats from a suburban (96 or so I think is where mine came from). I have a Dana 60 sitting around just begging to be narrowed for the Jimmy. : Keep his project pics updated looks like the makings of a nice prostreeter.

That is going to be a cool ride.

Where did he find those seats so cheap? I'm jealous.

He was buying a parts truck from a guy and this guy had them in his 67-72. He didn't like them and wanted to go back stock - what a steal!!!!

The are from a late model Burb or Tahoe, I will see if he knows the specific year range.

He lucked out on the price, I paid $175 or so for a cloth no power 40/20/40 from a 99 Silverado.
