Dreams of being a Eurocar destroyer
Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. Call me Sandyfield. I not to long ago purchased a 1971 Chevy C10. The truck was minimal body issues. The frame is straight. The motor is a 350 with some dated go fast parts. According to the Vin, it came with a 6 cylinder.
I bought the truck with dreams of harrassing all the rice burners and eurotrash. All the rich athletes, and business men driving the Ferrari's and Maserati's around town along with the young men buying the Honda's and Toyota's or Nissan's, this truck is for you. I'm currently doing my research on the proper chassis work to have done. I'm on the east coast. Charlotte NC seems to have the highest concentration of speed shops and chassis builders near me so, I'm starting there. I want a corner carver instead of a quarter mile killer. Light to light can get a little expensive. I realize going around corners isn't going to be cheap either. I have a target group I want to attack and they don't do quarter mile runs very often. I just want them to look in there rear view mirror and wonder why they can't get rid of this Old Ass truck on there bumper. American Iron Rules!!! Ill try to post pictures of my progress and I would appreciate any suggestions from the C10 experts |
