suburban trim between side windows
So, when I bought my suburban it had a box of parts in it including this side window trim. I'm guessing that this side trim fits between the windows, but I've searched a lot of burb pictures to see if this is painted the same color or contrasting color on a two tone and I haven't seen any pictures with this trim included. Was it a short lived trim piece? Any idea on what color it should be? FYI, this is a 1960.

Not sure about the 60-63 models, but that almost looks like the inner panel on the 64-66 models. I noticed on yours small holes on the divider(outside) for mounting. Let us know when you find out. I'm curious az to where it goes.

Re: suburban trim between side windows
I do have the inside trim panel and it is different. It's narrower and has screw holes on the top and bottom. I think that once the windows are back in, this panel might cover part of the rubber window gaskets.

Re: suburban trim between side windows
If you carefully look through the 60-66 Suburban only pictures thread, you'll see some examples. The separator between the two rear side windows looks wider with the trim. Might be a 1960 only thing as the few I saw in a few minutes of browsing were 1960 models.

Re: suburban trim between side windows
In all my shots I see it showing up on 60, and 61, but not 62.

Re: suburban trim between side windows
Man, I love the looks of that 61 4x4 with the water in the background and the 61 with the wood. That is my idea of the way a burb should look.
