FS: 1972 C-10 complete short bed project truck
Hey guys,
Life is getting in the way and I don't think I'm going to get around to working on my project for a while. I spent a good amount of time gathering up some nice parts for my truck and I'm not excited at the idea of getting rid of it but hopefully it will go to someone that can finish it. I'm selling all for $5,000.00. I'm not interested in parting it out..unless you want to buy $5,000 worth of parts..lol There's too much to photo. I'm in long beach. if you are interested let me know and we can talk and I can show you everything. 1972 cheyenne near rust free cab. 71 original shortbed frame. the bed is pretty rough. i have some cuts from another bed for patching and a one new repo bedside that has some minor shipping damage. buddy buckets that need restored, I have had the frame blasted and powdercoated. 350 engine with new hedman hedders, new sparkplug wires. ran great. 700r4 tranny that ran great. new bowtie overdrives kit for it. 373 posi rear end. auto tilt steering. I have two tach dashes and one regular new american autowire harness. a/c system with several cans of r12 new starter new water pump aluminum radiator cpp brake booster cpp drop spindles and springs. about 3 in the front and 5 in the rear. POL tranny cross member new rear trailing arm cross member new exhaust (flowmaster) also two new black widow mufflers that I won at the brothers truck show am/am stock stereo and an am stock radio as well. much more..come and check it out. as it sits some of the parts on it: Last edited by zamboni2354; 04-15-2016 at 03:34 PM. Re: FS: 1972 C-10 complete short bed project truck
Any interest? if you have an interest come by and see all the other parts that come with it and make an offer.
If someone wanted the frame with engine, trans, running gear, exhaust, bed and bare cab for say 3,300 I'd do that cause I could probably part out the rest to make up the difference. |

I'd be interested in the rolling chassis, driveshaft, and exhaust (basically your second pic)

the motor is a chevy 350 but the motor mounts are the 1972 big block mounts...just in case you want to buy the truck and upgrade it later to a BB =)

Re: FS: 1972 C-10 complete short bed project truck
in the pic on the rack, looks like the driver side of frame is higher than pass side. is frame bent or tweaked at all?

Re: FS: 1972 C-10 complete short bed project truck
there's no visible damage to the frame. the right side tire is low..well flat now. what would be the most accurate way to check it at home? I coudl add air to the tire until I measure from the ground to the axle the same measurement on both sides or just put the axle on blocks then measure the frame to the ground to confirm level..does that sound like it would be the best way?

I know that you don't want to sell individual parts and I totally understand that I would be the same way. I wanted to see if you are interested in selling some of the R-12. Thank you
