New lift installed=>understearing to the right, overstearing to the left. Any help?
Just got my Skyjacker 4" lift installed>>>>Do you have to do alot of adjusting on the adjustable end link? My truck is understearing to the right, overstearing to the left and the stearing wheel is 1/4 out of turn to the left so the wheel is sideways arms pointing up and down instead of left and right.
The drop stearing arm appears to be about 1.5" longer than stock I called Skyjacker and they said to adjust the end link. Is this correct? I want to make sure it is right before getting the front end aligned again. |

I sent you a PM. If you keep you adjustments straight you won't need an alignment. That is unless you needed one to start with.

Yep the pitman arm should be pointing straight out the side, with the wheels straight ahead.

Is there also a way to adjust the pitman arm? I have the steering wheel centered using the adjustable drag link but still does not turn well to the right and will overturn to the left.
I think I need a shorter steering arm but SkyJacker does not offer one. I may go with one from another manufacturer. Do you know of one that is the exact lenght of the stock one only taller? |

Even easier: With tires pointing straight ahead, and with your oversteering left and under steering right adjust the drag link to make the steering wheel turn left one complete turn and center the steering wheel.
