Re: Dash swap

your dash swap looks great so far .
I like 59 and 60 impala dashes way too much !!
I have been thinking about doing the same thing to my 65 for a while now ,
I already put the 60 impala steering wheel in my 65 and a have an extra 59-60 impala dash in stock already .
I sold the blue 66 in the first picture , but now I have the mint green 65 with a hacked up dash ..

Well it's adventure for sure but hell i started with 2 perfectly good dashes so if you've got one thats fu@ked off already i say go for it.
Once I've got all the bugs worked out I'll be happy to share with you what how when and so forth. Like my dad always said you can have cool or easy but rarely both and well this is really fu#king cool so easy it has not been.

Re: Dash swap

You guys might find some helpful info in Alan's build thread. He installed a '59 Impala dash several years ago.

Vitamin c10 is definitely a rad build... I had thought to just section the middle out and refab a center piece but I wanted to keep it looking original, center speaker grill, ash tray, original radio everthing will look like a stock impala dash. I had to get creative where and how it was sectioned to account for the width off the truck and keeping it all centered but its well worth it to go the extra mile
