Identifying OEM and Aftermarket front fenders

What's the easiest way to tell the difference between OEM and aftermarket fenders?

Re: Identifying OEM and Aftermarket front fenders

On a oe 67 fender there is three small triangles near the front corner. These are not on repopped fenders.

I've read these were a attempt at a crumble zone.

I don't know if these are present on any other yrs but my oe 71 fenders don't have them.
An I couldn't find any identify able marks on my 71's

I'm sure if ya examine the fenders well you should be able to tell if they are oe or not.
