Where can I find 73-87 mounts and clamshells?

As title states, anyone know where i can find 73-87 mounts and clamshells for an LS swap I'm doing in my 69 C10? I'll be running the corresponding DD sliders with these mounts.

I have a 69 C10 I'm going to do a 5.3/4l60 swap in and I'm starting to put together a parts list and order stuff. I haven't been able to source this particular part on the forum.

Thanks for the help there. I didn't know that. I looked at their kit. I wonder if there is a kit that includes sliding Ls mounts.

Bumpity

Still on the lookout.....primarily for someone that sells just the actual frame mount/perches

For others looking that don't need/want adjustable sliding LS mounts, this kit does certainly fit the bill as mentioned above.

Re: Where can I find 73-87 mounts and clamshells?

I had to go to a junk yard for mine. Paid around $50 I think.

I was told by Captain fab if your using them on a 67-72 c10 that the 73-88 c20 mounts work better as they are taller.

I havent had the change to drill and mount mine yet but they sit nice.

Why would you want them taller?

Re: Where can I find 73-87 mounts and clamshells?

I have in my mind that if I buy the 73-87 perches and the Dirty Dingo sliding mounts that I will be able to use my stock driveshaft as was done on http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=517347

Maybe that is wishful thinking? Not sure. MAybe I should just buy the ECE kit as well

Sorry for the delayed response. Taller because they fit our 67-72 frames better.

PM from Captain Fab, who is super knowledgeable.

The brackets from a 4wd are totally different and will not work.

Thanks
